Coach Ibrahima Ndiaye

Coach Ibrahima Ndiaye is a fencing instructor with over two decades of elite experience as both a competitor and coach. A former Olympian, he represented Senegal in épée at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and served as captain of the Senegalese National Team from 1997 to 2012. He holds an honors Maestro’s Degree from the FIE (International Fencing Federation) and has competed extensively on the international World Cup circuit.

As the founder and head coach of Storm King Fencing Club, Coach Ndiaye is known for his personalized 1-on-1 training, with a proven track record of guiding young fencers to success at regional and national tournaments. His students have earned medals in saber, foil, and épée and have gone on to compete in collegiate fencing programs.

In addition to his role at Storm King, Coach Ndiaye currently leads the fencing program at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where his teams have earned top honors in national intercollegiate competition. His coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, perseverance, and technical excellence, and he brings a unique global perspective to every lesson.
